RBC GranFondo Banff and RBC are excited to team up with Two Wheel View to help give back to the cycling community in Alberta.
Any donations made to the organization through the event will be matched up to $25,000 by RBC.
In addition to RBC's matching donations, RBC GranFondo Banff will donate 10% of all merchandise sales to Two Wheel View!
Two Wheel View
Two Wheel View (TWV) uses the bicycle as a tool to build resiliency in youth. Our school and community-based programs focus on leadership, health and wellness, environmental stewardship and community engagement. TWV change kids' lives from the seat of the bike. As a result of the TWV programs, students are staying in school, feeling empowered, enriched and ready to create positive change in their own lives and the communities in which they live.
Through our Bike Club program youth ages 11-17 take part in active games and bike rides, engage with the community and learn basic bicycle mechanics. Those who complete the program earn a donated, recycles bicycle, new helmet and lock.
In our Bike Trip program we offer a grassroots approach to travel where participants explore new cultures and gain valuable experiences while making meaningful community connections. Bike trips take place in Western Canada, Quebec, Argentina and Norway. Adventures available for youth and adults 14 years and older.
