JOIN US AT THE WELCOME GRANFESTA
Package Pickup. Get your event package (bike plate, wrist band and event package). Bring Photo ID!
Participant ID. Your bike number and wrist band will admit you to the Rest Stops and Celebration Plaza.
Sponsor Expo. See what our sponsors have in store for you.
Parks Canada. Stop by the Parks Canada table to learn about Banff National Park and how to respect the wildlife.
GranFondo Store. Look sharp in your RBC GranFondo Banff Rider Jersey.
Welcome Festival. Meet and greet your fellow riders, swap strategies and drink up the excitement of the weekend.

All GranFondo riders will need to pick up their event package before the event at the Welcome GranFesta, the official event Expo. Photo ID will be required for pick up and you will be asked to sign the event waiver in person. Please note that only the RIDER can pick up their own package, NO EXCEPTIONS.
PROCRASTINATORS’ PACKAGE PICKUP
All GranFondo & Medio riders will need to pick up their event package before the event. For last minute procrastinators, we are offering Package Pickup on event day. Photo ID will be required for pick up and you will be asked to sign the event waiver in person. Please allow 20 to 30 minutes to wait in line, pick up your package, assemble your event ID and check your bag before getting into the start corral.
FamilyFundo Kids Ride
The event is open to all children 12 years of age and younger and is a great way to get them involved in the RBC GranFondo Banff experience! We will provide a fun bike course with lively music at the start/finish area. Participants are required to bring their own bike and helmet (very important) and meet us by the large inflatable start/finish arch in Banff's Central Park. Everyone who participates will receive an event ribbon at the finish!
START CORRALS OPEN
All riders are asked to be in the corrals at least 15 mins before the ride start. Bike plates, bibs and wristbands must be properly affixed prior to entering the Start Corrals. The location of the start line is Central Park in the Town of Banff at the corner of Buffalo Street & Bear Street.

Bag Check Opens
Complimentary bag check opens at 5:30am at the Event Start (limited to one bag per person, excluding bike boxes). Maximum size is 21.5 in. x 9 in. x 15.5 in. (standard airplane carry-on size). Bag check tags are pre-printed with your rider number as a tear-away on your bib. Have this tag clearly visible and in position before you hand in your bag at the Station. Put all items into one bag - no loose items will be accepted! Items can be collected when you finish. Bag Check closes at 6:30am and will reopen at 10:00am when the first riders are expected in.
FINISH & CELEBRATION PLAZA
With the beginning of the GranFondo ride starting at 7:00am we anticipate the elite riders to make their way across the finish line around 10:00am. We will organize festivities throughout the day as the rest of the participants arrive. The Finish & Celebration Plaza will include:
